Dav Pilkey just knows what hes doing with these books. My son really gets into these stories. He laughs and continues to share with others about this book. Everyone knows how hard it can be to get an 8 year old excited about books. He read this book all alone for fun! Even being an adult I love the stories too and find them fun as well. I really hope a 3rd book will be coming out soon.
I got this while it was a really good deal. Cannot wait to give to my son for christmas. Came really fast.
the book was amazing. it was the best comic book I ever read on the tablet. It was so cool how super diaper baby and diaper dog tried to hit the pee with the two poles they broke down and hit the pee until it fell. I like it because instead of they saying the pee died instead you said that it got back up. It was also cool since the pee use the surrounding and use the train as nonchuck.
This series will help launch your boys into wanting to read. Yes, it is a type of comic book... but they are always over 200 pages, and it is filled with thought provoking "boy humor". It does my heart good to tell my boy to go read and see him happy to grab his book and sit on the arm chair... and then miracle of miracles, start giggling! lol I love it!
My 6yr old loves these books!! The only problem I see is it is from a child's perspective (as if another child was writing it) so there are a ton of misspelled words. So if your 6 yr old is learning to read like mine...I read the book with her and point out the words that are misspelled and let her know how to correctly spell them. Not a huge deal, just thought others would like to know that.
Funny continuation. Would love to see this as a motion picture.
Great quality! Me and my 4 year old son enjoy these books immensely. And, as a parent, if you're a book nerd like me, you'll enjoy a nice quality hardback book, with nice quality pages...this is it! I made the mistake of purchasing a paperback version and the paper quality was cheap and more like mass production paper quality. The hardcover is very similar to the "full color" addition in terms of paper quality. It's thick and glossy. Very nice book!
