A quick and very enjoyable read! Fun, witty, and insightful. You don't need to be a Yankee fan to appreciate this book. Great stories from a couple of baseball fans who travel to see their favorite team but also make a point of experiencing the cities they visit in non-baseball ways. Includes some great tips for what to see and what to avoid. Glad I read it!
Excellent book! Quick, funny, fun read, but tells you how to actually get there and see the Yankees (and stuff for the wife and kids, too) in other fun cities -- Camden Yards, but also Chicago, St. Louis, Florida, and all. The authors also seem a little crazy as they bump into the Yankees themselves and the largely friendly opposing (loser) fans. And, the trick to getting into Fenway for free is pretty cool! Kind of snarky as well -- reminds me of Bill Bryson and P.J. O'Rourke -- "The Orioles were really good back then, even with overrated Cal Ripken at short (we get up and go to work every day, too, my friend, and nobody's paying us millions of dollars)!"
